What Guests Are Saying
Furnace Creek Campground is well-maintained with clean bathroom facilities and spacious sites, making it a great choice for campers. Many visitors appreciated the proximity to major attractions and the helpful staff. However, some noted that the sites can be close together and suggested a need for more electric hookups for comfort during hot weather.

The location of this campground is the best if you want access to nearby food and major DV points of interest. Our dry site was very nice on the outskirts of the campground. The only recommendation for improvement would be to not let recreation.gov allow to book a very short site for a truck and 20 foot trailer. We were told by the Ranger that we would have to park our truck next to a bathroom since parking on the gravel next to the cement pad is not allowed. It was difficult to find an empty spot during a very busy time.

We enjoyed our 4 nights at site 77.
Utilities all functioned well, site was level, and clean.
Bathrooms were cleaned daily.
Note that showers are not available except by purchasing tokens for use at the nearby resort. We did not use, so can't comment. Overall, the campground was well kept, and quiet.
We enjoyed our stay, and would return

The campsite itself is adequately spaced, and the campers generally respect the environment that they are in. Only one camper kept their generator on while they left the campground.
The restaurants are a little pricey, but then we are camping, aren't we? A wonderful addition was access to the pool which was very refreshing at the end of the day.
We found that 3 full days was optimum.
