What Guests Are Saying
Furnace Creek Campground is well-maintained with clean bathroom facilities and spacious sites, making it a great choice for campers. Many visitors appreciated the proximity to major attractions and the helpful staff. However, some noted that the sites can be close together and suggested a need for more electric hookups for comfort during hot weather.

Nice spacious campsite with a long lot for an RV and a shorter spot for a single car. Some small trees that one tent can fit under for some shade. Close to bathroom and dishwashing facilities and the visitor center. Great spot!

Love this campground, clean and quiet. Perfect location for visiting the Ranch and the best jump off point for hiking.

Campsite was clean and located in great area. Had enough room for 2 tents, ground was level, and site was close to bathrooms. There was little to no shade in the campsite.

We loved most of our experience, except for a shocking situation.
With 4days left, a HUGE group of 8th graders moved into the campground area, right near the walk in tent section. They were so terribly noisy. I bet there were 75 kids or so. Then a big group of boy scouts (with drums at night) moved in nearby. Again……not in the group sites.
This overwhelmed the restrooms and was unbearably noisy.
We come most every year, but this year was extremely tough. We reserve site 127, since it is way on the end. This time it was too noisy.
Other than that we love Furnace Creek. We’ve been coming for 40 years.

Love this campground! My second time staying here. Bathrooms and wash stations are clean and well maintained. And a super quick walk to the Visitor’s Center. Highly recommend!!
