What Guests Are Saying
Furnace Creek Campground is well-maintained with clean bathroom facilities and spacious sites, making it a great choice for campers. Many visitors appreciated the proximity to major attractions and the helpful staff. However, some noted that the sites can be close together and suggested a need for more electric hookups for comfort during hot weather.

The campground is in an amazing location in the park! There are more trees than I was expecting and it was nice to have flush toilets.

The campsite was well kept, bathrooms were clean and had two stalls and two sinks per facility. It was great to sit around a campfire and see the stars — the park rightly has a dark sky designation! Also right across from the visitor center which was so convenient for getting water out of a fountain and snacks/gatorade if needed, plus maps.

Spacious campground. Site #85 is located in the middle of the grounds in one of the loops. There are campsites on each side but it did not feel crowded. This site does not have any trees (in case you need shade during the day). Good distance to RRs. RRs are clean. It was generally quiet at night, the only noise came from a compressor or some type of large unit next to the visitors center. It is on all night. It didn’t bother me but my partner said it as louder than expected.

I like the way they enforce the rules. I, regrettably, parked inappropriately and was couteously reminded of where I needed to park. Thank you for doing that.
