What Guests Are Saying
Furnace Creek Campground is well-maintained with clean bathroom facilities and spacious sites, making it a great choice for campers. Many visitors appreciated the proximity to major attractions and the helpful staff. However, some noted that the sites can be close together and suggested a need for more electric hookups for comfort during hot weather.

LED lighting over outdoor sinks would be nice.
Could be solar powered too.
Great restroom facilities

Workers were cold and unhelpful. Especially within the visitors center. One worker refused to give us a map, doubted that we were staying at the campground, and barely gave any information about the park.

Lots of fun. We arrived when it was dark and didn't realize there was more camping space toward the back past the trees. A random man did spy on us the second night by setting up through these trees under the guise of stargazing in the camping spot which was uncomfortable for a few women camping. I had to approach him to get him to leave and go back to his camping spot.
There was also an incident the first night around 4am of a man entering our campsite from a side where there were no other campers. I had to check the car to make sure there was no brake tampering.
Would definitely NOT recommend this spot for solo female campers. Groups of women need to be on the lookout and carry PPE.

Staff was very good and helpful. The site we choose was next to the dumpsters, that was not shown in the photo.
