What Guests Are Saying
Furnace Creek Campground is well-maintained with clean bathroom facilities and spacious sites, making it a great choice for campers. Many visitors appreciated the proximity to major attractions and the helpful staff. However, some noted that the sites can be close together and suggested a need for more electric hookups for comfort during hot weather.

great location for a camp ground, close to the main hikes. we went in November, good weather, stunning view from the top of the valley. Highly recommend Wildrose peak, Telescope peak ( start very early, long hike), Zabriskie/Golden canyon, Mosaic canyon, Mesquite desert dunes. One big minus: no shower available at the facility nearby, although it was supposedly available. You can get shower only by paying for the other campground, which is $34/d (!!!)

Loved this campground! I would definitely book again. Definitely worth booking several months in advance as the peak season is popular and you can not wait to book. Sitting outside of my trailer with all the lights off made star gazing worth the drive into the desert. Went in early November and temperatures were in the high 80s/low 90s. Unfortunately, flash flooding a few weeks before we went made some sights inaccessible, but will definitely try to come back when there is a new moon to have a more clear view of the stars.
