What Guests Are Saying
Furnace Creek Campground is well-maintained with clean bathroom facilities and roomy sites, many featuring trees for shade. While some campers noted noise issues and tight spacing between sites, the campground is conveniently located near major attractions and offers helpful staff. Overall, it provides a pleasant camping experience, especially for those seeking dark skies and easy access to amenities.

We had a great experience staying here for 3 nights. The camp hosts were friendly, and the bathrooms were mostly always clean. This was the first time we were able to book a reservation at Furnace Creek Campground, and we couldn't be happier that we got a site. This is the place to stay if you want a glamping experience, as there are restaurants, bars, a swimming pool, shower facilities, and a golf course nearby. We brought our own mountain e-bikes, so getting around was much more convenient without having to drive. Many roads were closed due to recent flooding, so having the e-bikes allowed us to access many of the attractions, especially Artist's Drive and Artist's Palette. Until all the roads in the park are repaired and reopened, I would highly recommend bringing your own e-bikes for the privilege of reaching inaccessible areas of the park.

Great location, clean restroom. For EV vehicle owners you should know there is an unfair EV charging policy applied to all regardless of your ability to limit electrical use to low amp draw I.E. trickle charge (5A). This policy should be reviewed in my opinion to allow some low current EV charging.

Very nice clean, spacious and level sites with full hookups. We stayed in site 52 with a 32’ Class C motorhome and for just be night as that was the only available full hookup site. Nice views all around the campground.

Had a Great stay only one problem was I needed to charge my power station and I was confronted by one of the rangers about my car running which is a Honda CRV that you can’t even hear running so their was really no noise. I needed to charge it because I use a CPAP at night to sleep so we ended up going for a ride to charge it.
