What Guests Are Saying
Furnace Creek Campground is well-maintained with clean bathroom facilities and spacious sites, making it a great choice for campers. Many visitors appreciated the proximity to major attractions and the helpful staff. However, some noted that the sites can be close together and suggested a need for more electric hookups for comfort during hot weather.

Very nice campsite in a great location, but a bit pricier than a lot of others in national parks, and not a whole heck of a lot of privacy, so 4/5.

Enjoyed this campsite very much. Site 12 is conveniently located directly across from sink station/restrooms, as well as the entrance. Nice amenities in Furnace Creek/Ranch area. Nice flat ground to pitch a tent. Was not crowded when I stayed. Well maintained.

We arrived late (8pm) and left 6:30am, we couldn’t find the ranger to check in but other than that we had a lovely stay

My wife and I spent 3 days/nights at Furnace Creek in different sites. The campground was not completely full but there were some open sites on most evenings. There is ZERO signal in the campground. We did get WIFI from the nearby Visitor Center which was very good most times but you could not wander very far without losing the signal. No fault to the park but... the downside... the heat. The last day we were there it was 100+. Without electric... at times it was tough getting away from the heat. We left one day early.... The park is amazing and HUGE. Drove all over with some incredible views. As for the campground... staff was very good and campground and restrooms were very clean. Cleaning stations for "dishes" and such was great. But no showers.... Dump Station was great and so was the water to fill our tank when we left.

Wonderful campground and very close to the Visitors’ Center. Furnace Creek is located ideally in the center of the park and most everything is within a 45 minute drive. There are no showers at Furnace Creek. Didn’t bother us but good to know.

We stayed at number 28 and it worked very well for us. The visitor center was nice and close and was great to visit and informative. It was nice to get Wi-Fi there. The camp host was very attentive and professional when he asked us about what he thought was our extra vehicle parked incorrectly. We did not have an extra vehicle and we pointed him in the right direction and the problem was taken care of. All the staff were great.
