What Guests Are Saying
Furnace Creek Campground is well-maintained with clean bathroom facilities and spacious sites, making it a great choice for campers. Many visitors appreciated the proximity to major attractions and the helpful staff. However, some noted that the sites can be close together and suggested a need for more electric hookups for comfort during hot weather.

Very disappointed to see employees demonstrating at the visitors center and holding the American flag upside down.

Both water filling stations were out of order, can't be a coincidence that they both broke at the same time. Too many people hijacking sites and getting away with it because there is no enforcement of rules in the campground. The Oasis portion at Furnace Creek gets worse every year, less available hours to eat, the ice cream shop is woefully understaffed, at least the workers are friendly and work hard. The Wildrose Tavern was awful, slow to get meals and then they were cold. I asked our waitstaff what really was happening that night and he stated they only had 1 oven could only cook 1 meal at a time. The saloon has discontinued lunch and the buffet was awful. Protesters protesting against part time staff being laid off holding the American flag upside down (in a National Park of all places). What used to be a beautiful place is getting very sad.

Sites are close together, but neighbors are respectful and quiet. Little to no shade, bathrooms are clean, camp host was friendly, restaurants, bar, golf all within walking distance as well as the visitors center. Place is kept tidy
Will return
