What Guests Are Saying
Furnace Creek Campground is well-maintained with clean bathroom facilities and spacious sites, making it a great choice for campers. Many visitors appreciated the proximity to major attractions and the helpful staff. However, some noted that the sites can be close together and suggested a need for more electric hookups for comfort during hot weather.

Been coming to DVNP for quite a few years and mainly camping at the Furnace Creek CG. The CG is clean and quiet with the Hosts doing a good job in managing the visitors. Bathrooms a functional and clean every time I used them. To our surprise the park finally repair and returned to service the onsite dump station! Thank you DVNP... We had great weather as it only rained one day with a lot of wind though starting late in the day a continuing over night. Keep up the good work!

The campground is very close to the visitor's center, golf course, gas station, lodge restaurants/bar, and general store. It's flat, open, and rocky and suited best for RVs rather than tents. However, Tent Site 010 has its own parking pad - as opposed to other tent only sites that are walk-in. The winds came up for a couple days and were the strongest I've ever experienced, and I advise not planning a tent camping trip if these high winds are forecast.

We loved our time at Furnace Creek - truly a beautiful campground! Making reservations early is a must but choose your site carefully and pay attention to its size. All wheels - trailer and tow vehicle, must be able to fit on your site's pavement. Additional vehicles that do not fit on the campsite's pavement must be parked in overflow areas.

Wonderful site. Very roomy with lots of trees for shade or shelter.

The person who checked me in was very friendly, bathrooms were super clean and I appreciate that they had flush toilets instead of pit toilets, a few of the tent sites are tucked into the trees and they're the best (I especially recommend sites 127 or 128), but most of them are more out in the open and don't have much privacy. Overall I loved this campground and will return repeatedly.
