What Guests Are Saying
Furnace Creek Campground is well-maintained with clean bathroom facilities and spacious sites, making it a great choice for campers. Many visitors appreciated the proximity to major attractions and the helpful staff. However, some noted that the sites can be close together and suggested a need for more electric hookups for comfort during hot weather.

The campground is very nice. It is very roomy. There was a problem with a rock in the sewer line and the solution that was given us was perfect. I can't wait to make my reservations for next year.

Nice, open and level space. I'm often leery of getting a site so close to restrooms as people tend to walk through campsites as shortcuts, but this was never an issue during my stay. Tent stakes were a bit difficult to drive into the ground, however there may have been better spots to pitch the tent. I can't really complain, either, because once the stakes were in, they stayed (it was dark and quite windy when we arrived, so the decision was to get the tent up asap instead of finding the ideal placement).

We like it here, especially in winter, because it’s a little warmer than in Vegas. We always get a spot with hookups, just because we stay a little bit longer. We love coming here to relax, the reason why I gave it 3 stars this time is because we were pretty close to the bathrooms, and unfortunately there were a lot of tent campers. So we could not really sit outside relaxed because it was always loud, people talking loud, a lot of people walking past us pretty much the whole evening. We will come again, but we won’t book this spot anymore. I think it was 78. This spot should be discounted a little, so that people can decide if they want to pay less for a bathroom spot or more for a more quiet spot. Other than that I love staying at Furnace Creek

The ranger at the campground and volunteer at the visitor center were very helpful . We went to the evening program and the presenter was excellent.

It lived up to my expectations of location and more privacy than most of the other campgrounds.
