What Guests Are Saying
Hat Creek is an excellent campground with convenient access to the park and stunning views, making it ideal for large groups. However, there was no potable water during the visit, and more site reservation options would be appreciated. Overall, visitors have had positive experiences, especially with the beautiful river stream nearby.

Access to the park was convenient. No potable water when we went, and i wish there was more choices of sites for reservation.

I booked this site second time and everything was amazing! This is a perfect site for a large group! Amazing views with a nice river stream across the campsite.

Very Nice and pretty big campsite. It's big enough that you can do stargazing right from your campsite and don't have to go anywhere to find a clear sky. The camp host did an amazing job to provide us with a clean toilet.

Not much shade in group site #1 but lots of firewood if you know what to look for, you bring a splitting maul and you're willing to work for it. Group site #1 had 4 tables and 2 campfire pits. All of the group sites are set up for tent camping but we parked our RVs in the perimeter road and we gathered in the center for activities. The water faucet was located on the north end of the site. Hat Creek is located approx 100 yards away. Lots of snowmelt had it running high and fast.

Mostly good site and area, but in the group sites, not all the bathrooms were open. Also, some neighbors can be partying into the wee hours of the night (1:30am music blasting).
