The campsite was lovely. If you are in a group site, you do need to go through the gate at the end of the single sites.
GRP2 had plenty of shade, and the creek was a short walk away.

Access to the park was convenient. No potable water when we went, and i wish there was more choices of sites for reservation.

I booked this site second time and everything was amazing! This is a perfect site for a large group! Amazing views with a nice river stream across the campsite.

Very Nice and pretty big campsite. It's big enough that you can do stargazing right from your campsite and don't have to go anywhere to find a clear sky. The camp host did an amazing job to provide us with a clean toilet.

Not much shade in group site #1 but lots of firewood if you know what to look for, you bring a splitting maul and you're willing to work for it. Group site #1 had 4 tables and 2 campfire pits. All of the group sites are set up for tent camping but we parked our RVs in the perimeter road and we gathered in the center for activities. The water faucet was located on the north end of the site. Hat Creek is located approx 100 yards away. Lots of snowmelt had it running high and fast.
