Hat Creek is one of six campgrounds available in the Hat Creek Recreation Area, home to some of the area's best trout fishing. Scenic hiking trails and an active volcanic area can easily be accessed from the facility.

The campsite was lovely. If you are in a group site, you do need to go through the gate at the end of the single sites.
GRP2 had plenty of shade, and the creek was a short walk away.

We had such an amazing time at Hat Creek! So much to explore in the area, the group site was perfect for our needs and everyone had a great time!

Access to the park was convenient. No potable water when we went, and i wish there was more choices of sites for reservation.

Very Nice and pretty big campsite. It's big enough that you can do stargazing right from your campsite and don't have to go anywhere to find a clear sky. The camp host did an amazing job to provide us with a clean toilet.
