The spot I picked has absolutely no flat area to pitch my tent. It was very small and there was no one around to request a location change. I did not want to risk someone showing up in the middle of the night to their spot and me having to pack up and go back to mine in the dark. I decided not to stay and did not stay either of my nights

The campsite is roomier. Facilities are well maintained. You are secluded in lushed trees. There is a beautiful hiking trail. The crew circle the camp at night every hour carrying lugs for purchasing so if you run out you don’t need to drive up to the gate but they can only do cash. If you purchase extra lugs that you don’t use, they do not refund for returns.

This is one of my favorite campgrounds, and this was my fifth visit. It is always clean, quiet, and well maintained. You can take hot showers, and the restrooms are much cleaner than at most other campgrounds.
There is also a market nearby and a lake close to the campground, so it’s easy to stay entertained even for 2–3 nights. One thing I especially liked was being able to buy firewood here. However, the price has gone up quite a bit — it used to be $7, and now it’s $10. That was a little disappointing.

This place is always well taken care of by the staff, and has flush toilets and showers, and is just lovely with its Dogwoods, oaks and truly beautiful cedars.
