We were at tent site 33 which was spacious and in the shade and a great site. It was very close to the bathrooms and showers. We didn’t use the showers because we only stayed 1 night but I did notice there was a line in the early evening for quite a while. The campground was pretty full when we went but wasn’t noisy.

This was our 7th consecutive visit to dogwood campsite, as usual it was fun to be there , bathrooms were clean but there could be one improvement if some wall mounted coat hangers were installed this would ease using the bathrooms and also if motion lights are intalled in shower and rest rooms stalls would greatly improve the experience.

We loved this place! Family of 4, with 2 little ones, we spent 2 nights here. My parents even dropped by for the day to spend time with us and they loved that they could walk around safely. We all loved how clean it was. The staff are so polite and kept are always actively around to make sure the grounds in great condition. We don't live far so this is definitely our new go-to spot!

This was our first visit to Dogwood and it was definitely a great experience! We were in site #9 and liked its location. The beautiful trees provided nice shade throughout the warm days. We were close to bathrooms and showers without being too close ;-). We had our toddler granddaughters with us and appreciated the quietness at night. Having free showers is a plus for sure! On our next visit we would probably look for a more level/flat site, as #9 has a bit of a slope. Overall and very nice stay!

Dogwood was kept up with clean restrooms/showers. The sites looked well tended to. It seemed almost every site had decent to great shade. Butttt it is a very busy campground (and I was there in the middle of the week - at the end of June). I learned you need to choose your site wisely. Mine (site 58) was almost like a shared site with 3 or 4 others with like a common area in the middle so it was not private at all. There was a water spicket in the common area, which is handy, but that happened to be in the middle of my site so there were constantly people and children using it while I was sitting at my tent 10 feet away. But it did seem there were areas that looked more private than where I was at when I was walking around. I'm a solo traveler but it seemed very family friendly and dog friendly. The workers and hosts were amazing from what I experienced. A black bear walked through my campsite while I was packing up and the hosts were on scene to help chase it away which made me feel very relieved and grateful to have them nearby. There’s also a 3ish mile loop trail that goes all around the campground which was perfect for a hike with my dog. The trail was well maintained and very clearly marked and I would say an easy to maybe moderate hike so great for families too. Lastly, the cell service was amazing the whole time which is a plus! I'll definitely be back, but just at a different site next time.

Camp hosts were very amazing. Campsites were spotless. No trash left behind by previous campers. Bathrooms were very clean, no smells, flush toilets. Hot free showers. Trails, close to town, large trees with shade. We will come back for sure!
