Dogwood Campground was a quiet and clean place to stay. There are two shower facilities, and although one of them was out of order on our first day, it was fixed by the second day, so there were no problems using the facilities.
The restrooms were always clean, and the camp hosts did a great job of keeping the entire campground well maintained. Everything was in good condition and well taken care of.
It’s also very convenient—Lake Arrowhead Village is only about a 13-minute drive away. There’s even a trail within the campground that takes about 50 minutes to walk at a leisurely pace.
We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely love to come back again!

We stayed at site 43 and it was great! We liked how it was surrounded by trees and bushes so I gave some privacy between other sites. Most of the sites here have privacy. This spot conveniently has water located right next to it and a short walk to the bathrooms. This site is probably good for two tents and a kitchen area. Would definitely come back to this spot again.

It was beautiful and at least 10 degrees cooler than the valley below. Our site was shady and had plenty of room for a trailer and two cars.

Beautiful spot. We reserved site 77 lots of shading. A little slop but not to bad. Bathrooms were near camp site. Always cleaned. Had a great time.

Great time here at dogwood campground! Was very clean and very quiet where we stayed. I would say beware of yellow jackets they bothered us the entire time when we tried cooking!! But other than that great time :)

Cancellation policy
- Reservation fees are non-refundable. For campsites, cabins, lookouts, yurts, group sites, and similar stays, we charge a reservation service fee of $8.
- Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
- Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
- Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
- Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
- Early departures may or may not be refunded. At certain facilities, partial refunds may be possible if staff can mark the site available for other visitors. No refund is given for a night if the early departure is requested after that day's check-out time.
- Security deposits are separate. Security deposits may be refunded to the original payment method if the facility is left in acceptable condition, as determined by the property.
Fees & deposits
- An $8 fee per night applies for additional vehicles at campsites, with specific rules for motorcycles.
- The extra vehicle fee will be charged on-site at the campground.
- A fee will be charged for using the dump station at the time of use.

- Campfires and charcoal fires may be prohibited during hot, dry weather conditions.
