My kids, dogs and I had the best time ever camping at dogwood! The cleanest and freshest site in California by far! We will be back!

Very friendly and welcoming staff. Very accommodating to our requests.
Campsite was clean, bathrooms were very clean and well stocked and smelled good. Appreciated free warm showers, and showers looked clean. Lovely campground with the greenery, birdsong, wildlife. Felt isolated from other campers but not too isolated.
More showers spread throughout would be helpful. Yellow jackets/bees were a nuisance but campground has traps so apparently doing their best to ameliorate this inconvenience.

Dogwood is one of the most beautiful tent campgrounds I have ever stayed at. Facilities are kept very clean and this is largely due to the great job Pete (the camp host) does. The camp site we stayed in was well insulated from the nearby ones and the canopy of trees made the experience all the better. I will definitely be coming back to this campground.

My family and I come here every year. Sometimes twice a year. Great clean location. Great facilities. Hot showers. And the lake is close by. Beginner friendly

Dogwood is my favorite campground. It’s peaceful and has great clean showers and bathrooms. I love this site, because the forest is right behind it so you can sit at your campsite and listen to the birds and watch the squirrels. I’ve been coming here for over 30 years.
