Dogwood is a great camping site for the entire family. Great hiking routes, clean restrooms, hot/cold showers, potable water available, very friendly staff, pet friendly, large camping grounds, lots of trees, very quiet once quiet hours starts. All the things you are looking for to have a great camping vacation can be found in Dogwood considering it is just about 30 minutes away from the city. Hard to find a place like this close to home. Will definitely will be back next year.

I've been coming to Dogwood with my family for 9 straight summers. The staff is always super helpful, friendly and doesn't intrude on your camping time. The location is always pristinely clean and (for the most part) quiet. It's a great place to enjoy fresh air and relax. Love the convenience and beauty of the campgrounds!

Dogwood is by far my favorite camp ground in the San Bernardino Mountains. Beautiful, lush sites. Clean sites and bathrooms. Close to Lake Gregory or Arrowhead. Nice trail nearby.

Saw a bear at our site (#18). One of the best camping experiences ever. Definitely going back!

The campground was quiet, well-maintained, and full of birds. Campsite 75 had plenty of flat space for a couple of tents abd cars. It backs up to wilderness, so my kids were in heaven. I thought being next to the high school might be weird but it was like it wasn't there.

Beautiful campground and well maintained sites. Do be careful when booking as you WILL be forced to back in which may not be desirable depending on site. There were some loud large groups and barking dogs which were pretty annoying during the day but thankfully got quieter at night. Loved the available hot showers , soap for sinks, and flush toilettes! Some bathrooms even had mirrors you could actually see in. It was pretty pricey for a non hook up. One complaint is booking policy. We wanted to stay 3 nights. Wed-sat. It would not allow me to book that as itREQUIRES you book both friday and Sat nights. So to get the spot i was forced to book and pay for the 4th night despite knowing it wouldn't be used, which also probably ruined it for someone trying to book a single night or a sat/ sun. Just ridiculous. Hosts were friendly though didnt see much of them.

Outstanding gorgeous family camp! The staff was fabulous, courteous and helpful and the grounds were pristine. Cleanest campground bathrooms ever!

In accordance with standard industry practices, Mountain Top Recreation will be assessing a $8 additional vehicle fee per night on the second vehicle in each single family campsite, and on the third and fourth vehicles in any double family campsite, provided these vehicles are not joined to the first vehicle by a hitch and towed onto the site. In the case of motorcycles, the first two are considered to be one vehicle and the third and fourth are also considered to be one vehicle. No additional vehicle fees are collected for bicycles. |
