We make Dogwood Campgrounds our go to. It is always the place we go to unwind and relax. It is always clean, has clean facilities and is quiet and a very friendly atmosphere. We use the fire pit and love the open area just to relax and enjoy nature. I recommend this campground and it is so easy to get to.

We had a good stay a dogwood. The staff was excellent! They kept the sites very clean, and the restroom was extremely clean. We can't wait to go back again.

Beautiful! Sites are nicely spaced from each other and beautiful. Close enough to small towns and lakes. Hiking nearby. Restrooms were clean; the campground was free from litter. There were crying children at night—parents should have been more considerate, like maybe sitting in the car with them. It was difficult to sleep. There are speed bumps which are very difficult to see because they are in the shadows and blend in with the rest of the pavement; they should be painted like white or yellow so people don’t come down hard on them and damage their cars like I did.

Great location for those needing a spot with wheelchair access. The back of the lot was good uphill for a second tent for those who dont need accessibility. Bathrooms and showers maintained well. Had no issues with the site or the great team managing thr area.

Dogwood is beautiful! We had a great time! We have another tripped planned for later this summer. We stayed at site 11. I would not recommend this site if you want privacy. The map on this website is so off. Site 11 is right next to the bathroom so people will literally walk thru your site to get to it, even tho there is a cement walkway. This is the only reason I gave it 4 starts instead of 5. We scouted out the campground to find our perfect site for next time! We still had a wonderful time despite the lack of privacy. We did not see 1 yellow jacket and hopefully it stays that way! The Park Ranger told me that the Forest Service might be chopping and trimming a bunch of trees to make it more open. Which is such a shame but understandable for safety reasons. I hope it happens after our next visit and not before! If you want privacy but still close to the bathroom book site 10. Sites 11, 12, 4 are right next to the bathroom but lack privacy. But honestly you can't go wrong with any of the sites because it's so beautiful and clean!
