Good site, very dusty and lacked shade for many locations. Good access to parks and lake arrowhead!

Campground was easy to find so was our campsite number 10. Campsite itself was fine, it was on a slight slant so be aware of that. Water spicket and bathrooms are just a few steps away which made this site very convenient. Shade was mostly there but late morning and high noon are gonna be the hottest obviously. Not to many trees so if you plan on bringing a hammock you might have a hard time finding a suitable spot on the site since trees are not very bundled together. You will have two neighbors and if your lucky they aren't to loud. Traffic is on the heavier side since your site is at the end of the loop and also a trail head is at the end so cars and hikers will come through all day, it didn't bother us much but just letting other future campers be aware. Fire pits here are a little low so be careful stacking your fire wood to high. Phone connection was 10/10 you will be able to talk on the phone and stream movies.
Bathrooms are 7/10, they're non private but clean enough with a working toilet, lights, toilet paper, and running water. Only downsides are that the stall itself is tiny and there is only one. The urinal is out in the open right next to the sink with no private wall so if you got your john out and someone's washing there hands it ain't to hard to look over and see your peepee. Also bathrooms do not contain soap or dryers for your hands. Also this campground has no showers, sorry lady's.
Dennis was our camp host and made this trip what is was. He was extremely knowledgeable about the area and the campground and just the outdoors in general. He was easy to talk to and made thing easy and simple for us. Make to check in with the camp host when arriving they are hidden right at the entrance after the stop sign, they are usually in a little camper and if not there look for them in their golf cart.
Also be sure to visit the town village!

  • Reservation fees are non-refundable. For campsites, cabins, lookouts, yurts, group sites, and similar stays, we charge a reservation service fee of $8.
  • Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.

    • One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
