One of the cleanest camp sights I have been to. The camp host was very friendly and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend it to my friends. The only downside was it was a really hot weekend and no showers to cool down in. I knew this heading in, so not the camps fault.

We had site 21 and it was perfect. We had 3 tents on site and had more than enough space. This campground was clean, quiet, and the host was super friendly and knowledgeable! We went to lake Gregory and had a great time. Definitely want to come back here.

On the way into the campground, we were a little concerned when we noticed how close it seemed to be to the residential area and the hospital. But once you are in the campground, you realize that it backs up to vast forested areas and a hiking trail with beautiful vistas. You really don't hear much road noise at all, although a helicopter did land at the hospital one evening.
There were enormous pine trees and oak trees surrounding the campsite (we were in site 19) so plenty of shade during peak sun hours of the day. Lots of birds and squirrels, and we did cross paths with a little skunk on one of the trails outside the campground. Each site has it's own bear box, and we felt better about putting food items and cooking supplies in there at night. We've never encountered bears while camping, but we've definitely had raccoons and other critters get into our food supplies on other camping trips. The restrooms were clean and have regular flush toilets and there was a potable water spigot very close to our site. From inside the campground there are a couple of different places to hike up to where you can see views of Lake Arrowhead and the North Shore Trailhead offers a beautiful, fairly easy hike with amazing views.
Our camp host was very friendly and had helpful suggestions for activities outside the campground. We were able to purchase firewood from the host and he very graciously loaned us an item we accidentally left at home and couldn't find in town. It's about a 5-10 minute drive into the village for groceries, ice or other activities. We stayed for 2 nights, and would have stayed an extra night if we had been able. All in all, it was a great place to camp and we would definitely camp here again!
