Nice campground as long you are in a site on the perimeter. The sites in the center are crowded together and better suited for groups. There is plenty of shade and quiet.

Campsite 10 was pretty central to the water spigot as well as the bathrooms, it meant slightly more traffic past your site, but it's to be expected. Pick another site if you want something more private. Also it was close the the hiking trail entrance. Plus the site had okay shade in the morning and evening. Mid-day tho if you're at the campsite, a canopy/shelter would be best. No one was there to check us in but we had no problem finding our site and it was ready for us. Was not able to buy firewood since no attendant was there that we saw. Campsites in general seem to be spaced apart well. Too bad Lake Arrowhead is private, still dont understand that. But at least Lake Gregory is only 20 mins drive away. Check Lake Gregory website tho as they are not fully operational right now due to Covid. Hiking trail branches off into diff parts, some are fire roads, some are trails and there's moderate incline in spots. Overall a nice site and would go back to again!

We planned staying two nights . We had neighbors like family types with kids .
Second night we could not stay and waisted our money paid because new neighbor arrived listened to load radio and music , extremely load . We asked them twice to turn it down , but they did not care at all . We ended up leaving at 6:00 PM , because we ere extremely mad . I wish you could us our money for second night please ?

Cancellation policy
- Reservation fees are non-refundable. For campsites, cabins, lookouts, yurts, group sites, and similar stays, we charge a reservation service fee of $8.
- Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
- Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
- Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
- Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
