This is a fantastic campground. The only thing keeping it from 5 stars is the lack of a shower. We will be back for sure!

The sites are large, quiet, & well maintained. The camp hosts are very engaged, helpful & readily available. Great experience for all types of campers: pros, first-timers, tents & RVs. I’ll be back!!

The campground is behind a very large and loud amphitheatre that frequently has competitions and races. It doesn't feel like your camping because you can see it right next to you and it is so loud you can barely hear eachother. Call the next door venue to ensure nothing will be going on. It was so bad we didn't stay but drove 3 hours back home.

Pine Knot is a great campground in the ideal spot. It is less than 1/2 mile to hiking trails and the mountain biking at Snow Summit Ski Lodge. It is less than 2 miles to the village and about 3 miles to the North Shore. The greatest plus is that the Campground Hosts are incredible people and work very hard to keep the campground and restrooms very clean. A great bargain with a great environment.

Enjoyed my stay at Pineknot campground at Big Bear CA. The online reservation process was easy and helpful... appreciated the campground map to help pick a site and the see what was available. The camp hosts were very helpful and supportive during my 4 night stay, and access to town within a half mile is very helpful for us "older campers."
