Site 39 was great! A little away from neighbors and some shade. We brought our little ones hear for 2 nights and they had a great time exploring around the site. Very close to Summit Avenue if you make a left from the entrance of the campgrounds, while you are leaving, as opposed to the maps directed you to turn right and take the long route.

This is one of my favorite campgrounds if I need a mixed outdoor-small town location. I bring two kids and two big dogs with me and so having a great campground at a lake is a must, but it is also convenient being within a charming small lake town where we can grab extra water and maybe an ice cream. The sites are clean, accessible, well-spaced, and beautiful. There are a mix of sites, with sun or shade, close to the road and bathrooms or not, and the camp host is awesome. You can purchase firewood there and it is cheaper and safer. Great experience, as always.
