Beautiful campground that is close to town, but still feels like your away in the woods. Camp sites are well spaced apart. Camp hosts were very friendly and welcoming, they even delivered our firewood to our site. Restrooms were clean, but could use some updating.

Great camp, stayed there twice already. The host is on site only till 5 pm or at least only till then you can buy firewood. We got there 5 mins later and asked the host to purchase some wood but were told she’s already clocked out. The campsite is huge! Enough space for few tents, also it has two spots for fire and grilling which is awesome. The restrooms are clean. It’s located right next to the busy zip lines which are having a construction so in the mornings it’s not that peaceful.

Our campsite was clean and beautiful. We were very close to restrooms and a water supply. Being so close to big bear city was a plus also to allow us to escape the heat during the day and visit some local stores.

I had never been to that campground and I was very impressed. The host was super friendly. Very clean campground and everyone was so friendly. I liked it so well we are going back up in two weeks. I like that a lot of the spots were shaded and I love all the trees. I was very impressed how all the people were pretty much quiet.😊

We had sites 5, 6, and 7. We are a Boy Scout Troop from San Diego that needed to do some altitude training before we head out to the Sierras. Scouts and. Scouters really enjoyed the campsites. Facilities are great and there is plenty of room to pitch your tent. We will definitely be coming back.

We had a great stay. Perfect spot so close to everything and yet we felt like we were in the middle of the wilderness. Perfect place to camp if you plan on mountain biking Snow Summit. You’re pretty much right at the base of the mountain. Would definitely stay there again and recommend it to anyone!

Great campground. Site #45 felt private and secluded despite being close to town. Hosts were pleasant and welcoming. The only downside is that there really isn’t a level spot anywhere in the campsite.

Great location, just SO MANY bugs. Campsites are covered in ants, all types of ants, and they bite. Beetles. Spiders. Flying insects. Mosquitos. I get it’s the forest and it’s hot but it’s the worst campground for bugs I’ve ever been to. For location A+, for environment D-. Campsites are also very hilly, we slept on the asphalt parking spot. Would not fit 6 comfortably.
