I would have given it an excellent but I feel the space for tents was not very good as this is a group camping space and there was not a lot of flat space to set up. Other than that the place was perfect, nice, clean and very quiet. Just what we were looking for!!!!

Beautiful setting, pit toilets we’re clean, the group next to us was noisy at times, and there was some sort of special night event, maybe star gazing, happening in the Children’s Forest parking lot that we were not aware of. Unfortunately, due to light pollution, this is not the best location to view stars.

All around amazing experience. Scenic and secluded group site, one of the best we’ve stayed at. Didn’t see or hear any other people the whole weekend. Beware the 1/4 mi dirt road to get to Site A is in rough shape, we barely managed it with low clearance cars. Although the site has a lot of room, there aren’t a lot of flat and clear spaces for tents, there’s only room for 6 maybe 7 tents.
