What Guests Are Saying
Arroyo Seco Campground boasts a beautiful location ideal for birdwatching and hiking, with clean facilities and friendly hosts enhancing the experience. While the campground can get busy and noisy, especially on weekends, many guests appreciate the vibrant atmosphere and access to nature. However, larger RVs may find navigating the access roads challenging, and some facilities require maintenance, but overall, visitors enjoyed their stays and expressed a desire to return.

Nice scenery but crazy prices for a campsite with a pit toilet

I’ve been going there for more than 25 years, a wonderful paradise.

Beautiful park with an awesome swimming area.
Only issue for us was the million yellow jacket wasps.
If you are afraid of insects that sting, this is no place for your group.

Good crowd and accessible campground, but the walk to the lake was bit far and no electricity hook ups

We stayed in the primitive campground and it was just great. Only a couple campsites with enough space. Serene surroundings and easy access to the hiking trails.

Arroyo Seco was a wonderful campsite. We had an RV, but also did some tent camping. Our campsite was the perfect size for the 7 of us. The weather was great. The campground had restrooms and showers available to use, just make sure you bring quarters for the shower! There were also very friendly and helpful staff that drove around every so often in case we needed extra fire wood or other supplies. Would definitely visit again!

Camp host was super nice. There was a lot of trash though. Pack it out, people!

It was a beautiful campground with tons of wildlife. No cell service so I figured out how to use the satellite connection to send and receive messages on my phone. I definitely plan to go back there.

Stayed 2 nights at site 15.
Pros: Well maintained with adequate ground room for multiple tents and parking up to 4 vehicles. Camp managers drove by every so often and you can purchase firewood from them for $10/bundle. River was running and very refreshing.
Cons: Noisy neighbors, restrooms were under renovation (expect to use porta-pottys).
