We stayed in group site 35 which was perfectly set up, shaded, and close proximity to bathrooms and trash/recycle. However there was poison oak EVERYWHERE and every single meal and snack was ruined by HOARDS of yellow jackets. Two of our party of 4 were stung and our dog was chased out of the campsite on multiple occasions by them. We bought two bee traps and filled them twice daily with dead bodies but it didn’t stop or slow the onslaught anytime a crumb of food was visible. Our bear locker was broken but we managed to damage it shut each night which ended up being such good luck as we had bear visits all night every night and they know how to test those locker doors. They were easily frightened by voices and flashlights but it would be nice if they fixed those or added a second box to the larger sites as we had ours stuffed full for 4 people and the sites normally say they house up to 8 people…
Very low lake levels- but we expected that due to the drought and we’re just happy to be able to get away.
Sans bees and the ridiculous 106 temps that hit while we were there we would have really enjoyed this site!

This was a very sweet site with a flush bathroom and running water very close by, which was nice. It was very peaceful and quiet. Hella yellow jackets in the morning though! Also, we couldn't find easy access to the lake unfortunately.

Why tf would y'all reserve a site with down trees in the middle of the site, debris everywhere,broken benches, broken nut on the bear locker (essentially broken bear locker). Overall trashed campsite had to pick an open one that was semi better down the road.

very nice, pretty. watch out for bears, they came at night and had to be shooed off. would still stay there again. lots of deer, birds and lizards.

Arrival & departure
- Check-in is at 3 P.M. and check-out is at 2 P.M.
Cancellation policy
- Reservation fees are non-refundable. For campsites, cabins, lookouts, yurts, group sites, and similar stays, we charge a reservation service fee of $8.
- Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
- Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
- Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
- Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
- Early departures may or may not be refunded. At certain facilities, partial refunds may be possible if staff can mark the site available for other visitors. No refund is given for a night if the early departure is requested after that day's check-out time.
- Security deposits are separate. Security deposits may be refunded to the original payment method if the facility is left in acceptable condition, as determined by the property.
Vehicles & parking
- Single sites allow one vehicle and double sites allow two vehicles, with a $12 fee for extra vehicles.
Site capacity
- The average maximum trailer size allowed is 30 feet.
Wildlife & food storage
- All food must be stored in the provided bear-proof containers.
- Due to active bears in the area, all food must be stored in designated bear lockers.
Safety & rules
- Poison oak is commonly found in the area.

- A fee of $17 is charged daily for using the boat ramp.
