Beautiful area, although this section of the lake has mostly dried up. The yurt was very lovely, however there were mysterious stains on the sheets on the bed (mouse droppings maybe?).

the online map of the camp sites is the worst I have ever seen. It turns out the site #26 is the very last site in the park, It is water front with very little view & a steep trail to get to lake. Drinking water was very close & the flush tolet was only 3 sites away. Hope this helps someone in the future.

Accessible roads to all campsites which are well-marked making it easy to find at night. Water from pumps was ready-to-drink which was very convenient. The lake is wonderful for swimming, had very warm water at the beginning of August.

We come here every year, except the last few because of covid, so was great to go back this year. Unfortunately, the 100 year hurricane had it raining! The good news is we tried the Yurt this time and it saved us from the rain.

So beautiful place for camping.They got very clean restroom and a place to fill the drinking water.They also got three yurts too.The early morning scene is incredible by the water!

A lot was wrong with this reservation. First, the map here in the app doesn’t closely resemble the actual sites. I selected my site based on being on the water side but it was facing the loud road.
Second, pictures show sandy beaches. Not the case! A person with heap replacement was in my group and couldn’t get down the rocky and steep sections down to the water.
Third, the host were pretty unskilled to handle situations. My site was occupied when I got there, until 6pm, and I had to let them know they needed to leave. Shouldn’t be my job.
No cell service, very hot in June. For paddleboarding, way too many power boats speeding around.
Lake is beautiful.

We stayed at campsite 6 and 7. While the photos to the beach are a little misleading the site itself is nice. The water was great and at 9 people late respectful of noice. Although the locals are not and they yell as they drive by.

This was an excellent site. It was quiet, clean, and wheelchair accessible. The odd-numbered spots are along the riverside and have a view through the trees. Access to the river is possible from most sites if one can climb down a rocky incline. However, about 1/2 mile from the campground, easy access to the river could allow those with mobility issues access to the beach. The RV park across the street is super close and has a great little store for ice, drinks, and other goodies. The camp hosts were friendly, and all other campers were considerate and respectful. The entrance is tricky to find, so if you're coming at night, the entrance is just before the RV park entrance.
The bathrooms were clean and have a wheelchair-accessible unit near Campground 5.

bath rooms were disgusting the host does not keep up with them he doesn't clean them daily we have to take our own toilet paper our own disinfect wipes because its disgusting and people are showering in the bathrooms when clearly there's a sign that says "DO NOT SHOWER" so some times we cant use the restrooms because the floor is full of water i dont mind the water on the floor what i do mind is the toilets are gross full of urine and feces.

Nice campground. Getting to the water is kinda sketchy as you have to defend down a rocky embankment.
The camp hosts were awesome and the bathrooms were clean at all times.
We had deer and skunks come through our site.
