Deer Creek Campground offers a beautiful setting with clean facilities, friendly camp hosts, and great access to the lake, making it a popular choice for camping and outdoor activities. Many visitors appreciate the well-maintained campsites and ease of reserving spots online. Campsite 25 is nice and has a good location, but not the best in the campground. It's not right next to the lake but fairly close to the boat ramp. Close to the water station. It has partial shade with full sun mid-day. The bear box seems smaller than the ones I saw at other sites. You do not need to purchase firewood if you are able to walk around and gather it yourself as there is plenty of wood lying around. Restaraunt is way over-priced.
Two out of four bathrooms were closed but instead of leaving twice as much toilet paper and soap in the open ones, they left the regular amount, so there was no soap or toilet paper half the time.

The bathrooms were a total mess no tp. Worst I've seen and I come yearly several times. Loren and Betty were missed! Rich and Alma dearly missed. Carmen, missed also.

Only 2 toilets for the entire campground wasn’t enough, resulting in long waiting lines

Great biking and walking proximity to 2 restaurants, the boat launch and general store as well as quiet walking trails. A calm cove is in the campground and the sites are spacious and very clean. Look forward to coming back again.

It is very hard to get reservations and there were only 2 working bathrooms for the whole campground. The camp host were pretty much non existent. We were there for 5 days and I think we saw them drive by twice. There are no showers or electricity in the whole campground.

Need to have more campgrounds open at Huntington Lake. Several campgrounds (Kinnikinnick and Catavee and others) have been closed for several years. You have managed to have these camp grounds open for decades and now for some reason you you can't.
In addition the campsites that were open most of the restrooms were not operable and padlocked.
In the 40 years that we have been camping at Huntington I have not seen worse conditions.
What Happened??
