The campsite was clean, the view was beautiful, but because of the bucking up of logs and loading them for transport to a sawmill in the adjacent Bear Creek Day-Use area, the mornings felt more like being on a commercial logging site. Furthermore, the rather intrusive annoyance of a-holes on jet skis careening around the cove in front of the campground for extended periods made it less than relaxing. I don't go camping to listen to loud machines, and I don't think anyone else does either.

Great Lake to relax and enjoy nature. Trails are accessible. Lake is great for kayaking and sailing.

Beautiful lake and nicely treed campsites. Was there for a sailing regatta. On the negative side, very basic bathrooms and no showers in the entire campground.

(+) Site was level, bathrooms were always clean, water locations were spread conveniently throughout the area, short 5 minute walk to the lake.
(-) Adjacent campsite had a 4-month old baby that cried often during the night - not terribly considerate of other campers.
