We stayed at site 19 at deer creek campground we had a beautiful view of the lake, water access was very close to our site the weather in September was perfect. The bathrooms from site 19 are a bit far and only 3 stalls out of 4 were working but they were nice and clean. There is a general store, restaurant and saloon very close by to the campground about a 3 min walk depending on the site. We will definitely be back here

Thanks for the great time. We hiked to Ranchera Falls. Sailed, swam, kayaked the lake. And had a good time fishing.

Nice campground with pretty views of the lake. Had a "premium" (lakeside) spot which was actually a double campsite so we were really really really close to the neighbors as the place to park vehicles and trailers was basically a shared space. It would have been much nicer to have a little breathing room between the two campsites (even a few feet would have been nice).
The campground had some paved trails winding through it and dirt paths that followed the road so you could walk to the general store and restaurant without having to walk in the road.
There water spigots throughout the campground and garbage dumpsters too. Overall it was very clean. Pets were allowed on leash.
The lake was pretty windy so there were lots of sailboats. SUPS and kayaking was better in the early morning before the winds picked up.
There are lots of places to hike around there and of course there is plenty of fishing!

Great views of the lake, although the cold wind had us looking for sun instead of shade. Short walk to the water spigot and bathroom. Plenty of firewood for the gathering nearby. The Lakeshore Resort store, saloon, and restaurant were great. The store is much improved.

The campsite was clean and ready. The camp host addressed a concern we had regarding campers who violated the quiet hours and were very loud all night long.

Great campground. I think the best of all the campgrounds at Huntington Lake.
