We had an excellent time at flux! Linda and Jack were so great they anticipate needs generously. Nice bathrooms and really nice showers. Our spot overlooked the river, came with hookups. Fishing right there. Beautiful, and we'll be back

Beware if you are coming to this place to workcamp. For a $500/mo spot, and $50 utilities you are expected to be on call on site 24/7, as well as work 15-20 hours active per week. That nets out to about $6.88/hour, not counting any of the on call time. For that, you can expect to be shouted at by the manager Lynda within a day or two. The owner Lee doesn't care. For less than half of California minimum wage, avoid this place at all costs as a workcamper.
It might be okay if you're a paying customer, but given that they are trying to run off the current workcamp host Dan, you might not get the best maintenance support because they are under staffed and under paying in that area severely.

Nice camp spot next to Trinity River. Down the road is a good BBQ/store and a few more miles to the Dam for fishing. Flux is really quiet, Rvs up at top with nice bathroom/showers. Rec room foe kids and plenty of nature to soak in. Yes indeed that water is cold too!

This was a nice quick getaway trip with my RV. I was able to get a spot last minute on the 4th of July, which was nice. We stayed for 3 days. It was a great place to relax and get away. Dan was the onside camp manager, and he was a great help. Dan helped me back into a spot with my large 39-foot class a motorhome. Dan even helped me get set up for the weekend! If you are driving through the Trinity County area, I would highly recommend this camp site as a potential stop. The resort is right on the Trinity River, which helps keep the area cooler during hot summer months. Give this place a shot!

The October camping was perfect. The fall colors were on full display. We arrived after dark 😔. Dan was great helping us find our spot and the hookups for our trailer. Being late in October, we had the place all to our selves. The bathrooms were clean, with a small heater to take the chill off. The buildings are a little dated, but it's easy to see updates have been made. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks Dan for making us feel at home.
