Fantastic campground. The spaces are spread out so you aren't on top of each other. The campground is kept very clean. The hosts do a good job.

A lovely campground with very friendly and welcoming hosts. The bathrooms were very clean and the camp site was free of trash and raked. Additional nice touch: each camp site was provided with a large full bottle of water for putting out camp fires!

We like camping at Mt. Rose campground. The host keeps the campground and pit toilets very clean. Campsite 8 is very windy due to the open exposure to the valley.

I have stayed in a lot of forest service campgrounds over the years. This is the nicest ever. The pads were mostly flat and well maintained. We stayed in #5. There were concrete pads for the picnic table, the grill and a stand perhaps for your stove or utensils. I did not meet the hosts, but they maintain the CG well. The restroom was well stocked and clean. Fabulous CG.

The Mt Rose campground is awesome! Not only is the camp host pretty, she's extremely good at her job. I watched in the morning as she cleaned each campsite after it was vacated. Each tent pad was perfectly flat and perfectly groomed. The picnic table and grill area were spotless when she got done. I have never stayed at any campground where the host put so much effort into preparing each campsite for the next visitor.
