My wife came here for years as child, and we’ve since been taking our family for almost 30 years and have always loved our time at Boca. However, this visit was not nearly up to par. The camp host never once made contact with us, not even to verify our reservation, and especially not to monitor and control the noise that went on until after 1am. And the site for the host was over run with junk…huge plastic tubs and all kinds of big trash…looked like a junkyard, to be honest. The bathrooms were atrocious; bags of trash on the floors and swarms of flies , especially when you opened the commode, they just kept coming up for days to where we had to drive out of the springs to find one we could use. This was our first visit back after having missed the last three years due to health issues and my wife was looking forward to it more than anything, and although we still believe that Boca is a beautiful, peaceful place, we ended up leaving two paid days because we just couldn’t justify having to keep driving so far to use the restroom or deal with the upcoming crowd of new campers over the weekend that for sure were going to be a “party crowd”, that would have no host holding them to the noise rule. Not fair to families wi the kids who need to sleep before midnight. Not sure we will be coming back anytime soon, which is sad to say because my wife was raised coming here with her family every single weekend and we’ve made it ours and our extended families place to go. I pray these comments will be taken to heart and not as an “angry customer”, and that the issues mentioned are addressed and resolved. Thank you.

Boca Spring is an absolute hidden gem! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning natural beauty—crystal-clear spring water, peaceful pine forests, and breathtaking mountain views in every direction. The campsite was clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully laid out with plenty of space and privacy between sites.

Very nice spot, and a lot of car can park and not to crowded.

Great location. It's a quiet, family oriented wooded site. 15 minutes North of Truckee. Water from a spigot and a natural spring.
