What Guests Are Saying
Fowler's Campground is praised for its beautiful setting, spacious sites, and excellent access to stunning waterfalls and swimming holes along the McCloud River. Camp hosts are noted for their friendliness and helpfulness, contributing to a clean and well-maintained environment. While some guests experienced noise disturbances from other campers, overall, the campground is seen as a fantastic destination for families and nature lovers, despite a few complaints about restroom maintenance and the absence of a camp host during certain visits.

Enjoyed coming back here for a third year. Nice big camp sites. Very full and some loud dogs but mostly really nice campers. The access to the river is fantastic just expect a lot of people.
No camp host this year and the toilets didn’t have toilet paper after the first night.
Overall good value!

My sister and I have been coming here for 5 years every Labor day weekend. We had a wonderful stay at this campground! It was peaceful and quiet, making it a great place to relax and get away from the noise.
The views and scenery were beautiful, and the campground had a great atmosphere. The fire pits and picnic areas were perfect for sitting outside, enjoying a meal, and spending time around the fire.
The price was also very reasonable for what you get. Overall, it was a great experience, and we would definitely come back again!

We were here on a very busy Saturday night in late August and the place was a zoo. Nobody was monitoring the number of campers in each site nor the number of cars. It was party central with people yelling and screaming all night and no rangers coming around to check on the situation. And do not choose a campsite next to the walking trail to the waterfalls. It is a constant parade of people right through your campsite, and you will have no privacy whatsoever. The campground itself was not bad. Just don’t go on a busy weekend.

Beautiful campground and access to swimming at the Middle Falls was a short, easy hike. Camp host was welcoming and kind.
