September is a great time to be at Fowlers. Campground less than 1/2 full. Pit toilet and campground in general kept very clean by staff. Beautiful surroundings with mature evergreens and the McCloud River right there. We’ll be back… 👍

for the forth year, the camp host is very unpolite. He also ran a water sprinkler at full power for 6 hours a day for the 4 days I was there, it was hot but we are in a drought

Fowler is one of my favorite places! You did a good job with the improvements. The only thing left would be to add better trash bins, for bear safety! The ones right know, with all the chains are not easy to open for me! I am looking forward to next year!

Fowlers Campground is accessible via Highway 89, which connects to McCloud and is the primary route leading to the campground.
Policies & Rules
General
- 14-day limit.
- You must cancel at least three days in advance of your arrival date.
- Pets must be leashed.
- Be prepared for inclement weather.
- Use proper wildlife precautions as wildlife is abundant in the area including bear, mountain lions, deer and various small mammals.
- Don't feed wildlife. Store food properly.
- Never abandon campfires. Put campfires out until cold to the touch.
