My daughters and I camp here every year. It is clean and quiet. It is great for families. There is an easy hike to the waterfalls or creek. I wish they had flushing toilets, but other than that, I can't complain.

Wonderful, clean campground with basic amenities. Love the reservation system--gives us peace of mind knowing that we will get the spot we want. It's right on the McCloud River, so wandering over to the falls is convenient. It's close enough (you can swing into town for ice or pizza) yet far enough (feels remote) from McCloud and Mount Shasta.

One of my favorite places. However our campsite was a mess of downed trees. I choose this campsite because of shade but Sawyers had come in and chopped down all shade. Unfortunately the only site that had no shade. Camp Host was curt and ran his generator after hours and complained of excess work, they should be so lucky!
