What Guests Are Saying
Fowler's Campground is praised for its beautiful setting, spacious sites, and excellent access to stunning waterfalls and swimming holes along the McCloud River. Camp hosts are noted for their friendliness and helpfulness, contributing to a clean and well-maintained environment. While some guests experienced noise disturbances from other campers, overall, the campground is seen as a fantastic destination for families and nature lovers, despite a few complaints about restroom maintenance and the absence of a camp host during certain visits.

Bathrooms were not bad. Campsite itself didn’t have as much flat area for tents as we expected. Fishing in the area was excellent. Firepit also has a rack which was useful.

It is a good location and has plenty of privacy but the vault toilets were very poorly maintained and smelled and looked pretty bad.

Visiting there is always wonderful. Bathrooms weren’t bad. One garbage can was locked so I had to walk around the loop to get to the other which I only found bothersome because it was dark at night and I was trying to get my kids in bed. Not a big deal really. Plenty of fish!

The bathrooms were not cleaned or restocked all weekend. Toilet paper all over the floor and toilet seats were gross. Also the overall appearance of the campground was terrible. Trees cut down and left everywhere. Disappointing!!

A great overnight spot for viewing all three falls of the McCloud River. Easy hikes from campground to Middle Falls. Also, parking available at all three falls.

The campground was clean and very well maintained. It is a beautiful campground, and we loved the setting right next to the river. We had deer passing through the campground daily.
