Fowler's Campground is praised for its beautiful setting, spacious sites, and excellent access to stunning waterfalls and swimming holes along the McCloud River. Camp hosts are noted for their friendliness and helpfulness, contributing to a clean and well-maintained environment. The camp ground was great, the deer, chipmunks, river and the falls were awesome. We were assigned to campsite A4 and with a pickup and a 28' trailer we almost didn't get in. I suggest not taking that site if you're pulling a fairly large trailer, there are better sites.

Trash was an issue. The bin was full for a couple of days. Either a larger bin or more bins needed if trash services are not available.
Also, it's getting very crowded along the river hard to go fishing. Planning to go back when not as crowded, more offseason. Still love the area as I have been going here for over 40 years. Already planning my next trip.
