What Guests Are Saying
Indian Springs offers a beautiful campground with clean sites, friendly hosts, and a great pool, making it a favorite for families. While some guests noted the noise from the nearby freeway and trains, many found it manageable with earplugs and appreciated the site's spaciousness and privacy. Overall, it’s a lovely spot for camping and exploring nearby hikes, with some room for improvement in bathroom maintenance.

Loved it. Beautiful and easy to hide. A little traffic noise at night but so worth it.

This camping experience at Indian Springs was quite poor. There was no one on staff to update the reservations on each campsite, so unfortunately the campsite Recreation.gov let me reserve days prior was taken by someone. I had chosen campsite 21 because it looked to be the furthers from the highway, in fact as we explored the campground, we found that the noise pollution from the highway permeated the entire place. Semis and cars can be heard at all hours of the day and night. We settled on a campsite near the water, which provided a direct line of sight to the highway. Furthermore, there are no doable hiking trails within walking distance to the campsite. We chose to hike one of the local OHV trails, but turned around about a mile after our descent. The road was VERY rocky and impossible to enjoyably, hike the trail. Lastly, because you're so close to the highway, there is cell reception. Do not go here, if you want to "disconnect" with technology and connect with Mother Nature. This spot is likely good for people with RVs, but not suited for tent camping.
The campground gets two stars because there is a small lake with a cool waterfall.

Great location...our site was located just a short walk over boulders to the swimming hole and the toilets were behind us. The swimming hole is a huge plus! Campsite was huge with plenty of space for all of our tents. The noise from highway did not bother us at all. Bees were a pain, but it's camping...what do you expect. The rangers were super friendly too!
