What Guests Are Saying
The Big Bend Group area is a beautiful and cozy location that accommodates up to 25 people, making it ideal for group gatherings. While it is clean and secure, the proximity to a busy highway results in significant noise, which may disrupt sleep. Overall, it offers a lovely setting, but potential visitors should be aware of the noise factor.

Everything was good. Enough area for 25 people and cozy spot and clean. Just need earplugs for night time to sleep because of high way sound. Beautiful location.

The place is crazy noisy and loud because it locates under the road which vehicles pass by 24/7. The view is not bad, seems secure, next to the fire fighting station, and available reception. Anyway, I would not recommend this because you’ll get extremely disappointed with the noise and it doesn’t feel like what it should be as a safe and sound and peaceful camping trip. I booked it lately so this was one of the least options I could figure out..

We’ve been to this site three times now and loved it the first two times, but this last time so many trees had been cleared the freeway sounds wear so loud we couldn’t sleep. The river is still beautiful and the toilets were clean, but it’s better as a day trip stop.
