What Guests Are Saying
Indian Springs offers large, well-maintained sites with clean bathrooms and a friendly camp host, making it a great spot for family camping with kids and dogs. Many visitors appreciate the spaciousness and fun water activities, especially in warmer months. However, some guests have noted significant highway and train noise, which can be disruptive, particularly for tent campers.

Large sites, cool swimming hole, but road noise on site #4 is unbearable. So loud that you have to raise your voice to speak to someone beside you. Difficult for tent sleeping. RV/van is ok.

Perfect spot to spend a long weekend. Great camp host, clean sites and bathrooms. Some spots are great for RV and all are great for tents. Rocks and water were fun even into September! This is our go to spot for camping with kids and dogs.

Campsite was really good! Water hook was close by! Mobile had reception. Toilets needs to be better maintained

This is a nice campground, seems like there was a good amount of space between sites. We went on 4th of July weekend so it was full. I assume it was just the holiday weekend there seem to be a lot of extra cars. A lot of reviews on the sound of the interstate it is tucked close to, I thought it was a positive, it drowned out all the other campsites. Typically you can hear everything and everyone in a campground, not so much hear because of the traffic noise.

Camp had a host and clean bathrooms. Woke up a few times due to nearby trains passing through.

I made a reservation for the end of May and received an email confirming said reservation 2 days prior to my visit only to drive 2.5 hours to the campsite to find that it was closed and locked. I never received any notification that my reservation had been canceled and had to call rec.gov who informed me that the campsite was actually closed until June even though I had an actual reservation. I was refunded the amount for my reservation but in this economy I wish I would’ve known ahead of time so I didn’t waste gas driving 5 hours round trip for nothing.

Great Camp ground, lots of room bathrooms maintained well. The road noise from the highway is a little much.
