What Guests Are Saying
Indian Springs offers large, well-maintained sites with clean bathrooms and a friendly camp host, making it a great spot for family camping with kids and dogs. Many visitors appreciate the spaciousness and fun water activities, especially in warmer months. However, some guests have noted significant highway and train noise, which can be disruptive, particularly for tent campers.

This campground is beautiful, however the traffic noise did keep us up at night. It was not as noticeable during the day. Other than that, it was really nice. The restrooms were clean and actually smelled good and the river is so close! Unfortunately, I don’t think I would stay at this campsite again due to the noisy highway.

Yes, you can hear the freeway and the train. Not a lot of hiking on site. Super convenient and a great location for a quick trip away. Bathrooms were not bad and saw them being cleaned and re-stocked during our stay. No bear lockers which would have been nice to store food. Campsites are a bit close however, not too bad. Great cell phone reception which came in handy when we needed to call aaa. Will camp here again.

Had a great time camping at Indian Springs. The campground was clean and well maintained. There is cell service (Verizon). Note there is noise from the highway as well as noise from the trains. This did not impact my enjoyment of the site. Camped here during a campfire ban, there were other people observed at the campground having illegal campfires as well as people with dogs off leash.

Can't get away from the freeway sound but still had lots of fun with the family. Swimming hole was clean considering how many people were there.

Sorry, it’s bad. Reviews said,”You can hear the freeway”.
Our site was literally ON the freeway. 65-70db
We had to yell to hear each other. No worries about hearing fellow campers. The swimming hole was pretty until you walked up enough to see the graffiti wall at the overpass. Other than that, it was just bad timing for us. Too hot, too smokey, too much tree sap & too many yellow jackets. We left early. Never to return.

The swimming hole exceeded my expectations, clean, easy to access. The waterfall is gorgeous.

The campsite was clean and well maintained. There is a little lake and waterfall that you can swim in which was pretty and clean. The campsite is near the highway so there is constant highway noise as they noted on the webpage. I’d advise selecting one of their spots that’s further away from the highway as the trees were able to block out some of the noise.

We spent 1 night at Indian Springs CG. It happens to be a few hundred yards away from I-80. After a sleepless night I heard comments like “jet engines”, “tornado” , “glad I had ear plugs” etc. The campground was very nice but the noise was pretty loud. There are many quieter campgrounds a bit further west off highway 20.
