What Guests Are Saying
Indian Springs offers large, well-maintained sites with clean bathrooms and a friendly camp host, making it a great spot for family camping with kids and dogs. Many visitors appreciate the spaciousness and fun water activities, especially in warmer months. However, some guests have noted significant highway and train noise, which can be disruptive, particularly for tent campers.

Overall Indian Springs is okay. If there was not the heavy sound of vehicle traffic on I-80 it would be fantastic. There’s also the occasional train horn.
Everything else was fantastic. Great site. Quiet. I didn’t even see a single mosquito.

My stay here was great! I could list dozens of positives! The only two negatives I can report are 1) the traffic noise from I-80, and 2) the presence of pine resin dripping from the trees. If you are ready to deal with these two negatives, then you will have a wonderful time here. I'd rate it 90 out of 100.

Only there one night. Nice enough campground with a nice swimming hole. Traffic on freeway doesn’t impede things during the day. But, at night, if you’re a sensitive sleeper, the freeway is a bit much.

Site 9 is too close to the highway and railway. There's a lot of noise from traffic and trains which can be annoying. It also didn't have much shade during the day. The site had shade in the morning and evening but not during the day. I would recommend sites 20-28, those sites are shaded and are further from the noise.

The water was great and being so close to the river was fantastic. The entire campground is very loud. Don’t think I’ll come again because of how loud the cars are and how you can hear them all night.

Site was flat, plenty of shade. Stayed in a 20' trailer. Plenty of room for tents. The freeway sounded like wind blowing through the trees, you could still hear each other and listen to the birds. But it was a constant noise. The swim hole is very nice and deep.

It smells good (some of the restrooms not so much), nice and dark for star viewing, flat tent sites, clean, nice swimming hole. However, the non-stop traffic noise is incredible, think: planes, trains and automobiles, especially when there's a lot of trucks on the highway. Toilets out of paper Friday evening, still out of paper Saturday morning... bring your own
