Enjoyed ourselves here. Very quiet, when we went on a weekend and we were the only campers there! Fruit growing from trees and there's a creek.

We booked this camp by mistake, but it became an excellent experience. The camping ground is quiet with a lot of tall trees. There’s a beautiful creek beside the camp. The hosts are very nice and friendly. Michael gave us some fresh vegetables and made us an unforgettable day.

We (family of 5 with kids age 4-10) had a great time pretending to survive as pioneers late fall temperatures (lows in the 30s, highs around 60) in our tent with our Thanksgiving weekend trip. We had the entire campground to ourselves for two of the nights we were there, and only two other sites were used the other nights. The campground gets basically no direct sun during this time of year, since it's nestled on the north side of a wooded hill, with Pearch creek on the north boundary. The camp host was friendly and helpful, and the restroom was kept clean. Water is easily accessible. The trees are tall and beautiful, though there is no natural boundary between sites. Privacy has to be made for yourself. Pearch creek itself has some access along the campground, and it is a scenic short walk.
The nearest Klamath River access just to the northwest is very close and has plenty of space for those interested in fishing or just exploring. We spent two afternoons at that location and caught/released about 7 wild "half pounder" steelhead there. Sadly none of the fish we caught were hatchery trout, so no keepers.
The Salmon River Outpost about 7 miles/10 minutes north was a nice place to visit for coffee and a fishing report card. They only had their organic blend dark roast coffee at the time, but there's also an espresso style counter that appeared to be temporarily closed. For basic supplies, I would go there instead going to the closer Orleans market, which was less inviting.
Firewood was a bit hard to find locally. The Salmon River Outpost apparently will normally have some, but they were out. The Orleans Market has some, but it was $12 for about 1 cubic foot. We drove to Hoopa (almost 40 minute drive) and managed to find a local to buy from, but be advised you may want to plan in advance if you plan to use a lot of firewood like we did.
Google FI, which is T-mobile and Sprint has no service until most of the way to Hoopa.

We reserved site 10 (thinking it was secluded according to the map) and it is right next to other sites. There are 3 spacious sites (4th is closed for now) and they are all in a circle shape and open, so you will see what everyone else is doing. However, we were the only ones and the whole camp was ours. Hosts are very friendly and caring. There is a pear and an apple tree, you can pick fruits. Subtle sound of the creek and occasional road noise. It’s a beautiful place with the river next to it and you can go sunbathe or swim in it, we were the only people down there. There are mosquitoes in the evening and in the early morning, bring your repellent. They have great fire pits, fire stoves, tables and vaulted restroom. We enjoyed our stay here very much!

I was greeted warmly when I arrived the campground. It really was a nice place to camp with those big tall beautiful trees. Clean area that is well maintained. Really appreciate the camp watchers telling me about Dolan's Bar. Really was a spectacular place to spend time, so I hope this message gets to them, thank you! Really enjoyed my time at Pearch Creek Campground. Thanks again!

We used this site as a base for some environmental sample on the river. The facility was perfect for our needs. Clean, quiet and convenient. Nice spot to stay
