Oak Bottom Campground

Our camp host was wonderful. Clean bathrooms.

Excellent site with the desirable solitude. The campground was almost empty. The bathrooms were very clean. The host is helpful if you have questions about the area. The only drawback that you have to bring your own bear canister for your food because the campsite doesn’t have one set up.

Face, the host, was a sweet, helpful, informative person and we will come back. The campground was so clean, lavatories were clean, very well kept sites, fully shaded.Thank you!

The site was beautiful, the host was awesome, and the river so easy to access either by car or on foot. We saw deer and even a bear meander through the woods behind our site. Bathroom was clean, potable water plentiful, and the closest store had a surprisingly well curated selection of groceries. The campground was popular with local families. We felt super safe, and it's not near major highways, so no road noise. We will definitely return to camp here again!

Campground was beautiful and the river is so close by and pristine. The host was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely come back in a heartbeat. Only reason I didn’t give five stars is there was a fair amount of trash around from the previous campers.

Great campsite and host

Oak Bottom is set in some beautiful wilderness with great views in every direction when driving to and from. While the ground cover was light, there where plenty of trees for hammocks and much needed shade. The facilities where clean and close with and excellent camp host full of useful information. Salmon river is extremely close for taking a dip or fishing. Would definitely go back if travels take me to that area.

I wish we had more time here. Otherwise very good campsite and cool host. Close to the river and to a good general store. Prepare for the mosquitos!!!
