Great everything except the actual size of the area where a trailer and car go. There is plenty of tent space but very narrow otherwise for side by side car/camper. We were in 114D next time we will book 115 too.

Very worth it hike to the caves thought start very early cuz it’s a solid 10 miles from the campground. Then take the cliff trail from the other side of the cave. Facilities are top notch.

Got cold in tent cabin due to heater too small. No hot water in main showers and other portable showers were filthy. Unfriendly lady in check in. Trails were not marked directionally good. Deer were around so we enjoyed that.

The campsites, trails, and restrooms here are nice. During the evening, the motion sensor lights in the bathroom are set to go on for a short time, so expect the lights to turn off.
One issue I have is with the wifi access available at the camp store. Verizon/Xfinity has no cellular signal at Pinnacles. The camp store area offers two wifi tiers. Free, which provides 30 minutes of use OR 50MB of data. I burned thru that in a few minutes when I got access as text messages came in with media attached and I did a facetime to let family know we arrived.
The paid tier is about $7-8 for a few days of access OR 500MB. Well, I burned thru 50MB in a few minutes. 500MB isn't going to last that long. Whoever though up this data cap needs to rethink it. I would have been fine with paying, but would have liked the cap to be a few GB. I'm camping - I'm not going to be streaming videos. But I don't want access to just end when doing a few facetime calls.

It was really nice to camp without setting up a tent. This campground had a ton of active raccoons, so it was nice to have that separation.

The thing that made this trip different was tent camping. It was our first time doing it and we really loved the tent. The beds were very comfy and there were even solar powered lights. It was great to have the pool cause we happened to be there when the daytime temperature was 96 degrees! Our family was in a nearby tent campsite and the campsites were very nice with lots of greenery to create a private environment. I'd love to come back in cooler weather!!
