camped in cabin 107. It was clean and as expected. The only drawback is cabin 108 is 10 feet from cabin 107. We were lucky that a single person stayed in 108 and was never "home". Cabin 107 and 108 would be great for a large group (4 to 8) camping together but needing 2 cabins.

Quiet, lovely campground with LOTS of birds. The camp store/visitor center is a decent place to get some snacks and essentials, but go to the grocery store before you get here; it's a long drive to Hollister and there just isn't much there, either. I'd recommend one of the creek side spots if you can get one, they had privacy and more shade. Overall, a good, well maintained campground.

I was at the campground on a field trip with my class. The pool was a nice feature, the showers are limited (only two stalls per bathroom). The shower buildings are very far apart so be sure to book a spot nearby a bathroom if you don’t want to walk to a different loop to use the restroom.

The campground is great if you are able to get into the C area and take advantage of the tree shade. Some areas are open and will get all day sun. The outhouses are, well, outhouses and all that's available in the C area. Shower facilities at the camp store are free, clean, have hot water & great after a day of hiking.
Hiking trails are well maintained, they are not easy hikes so this is a great place for a hiking challenge and to enjoy the scenery.
Camp store is well stocked with essentials and staff is very friendly, knowledgable and helpful.
Overall a great camping experience in an awesome setting.

Good:
- seeing condors, natural rock formations

Bad:
- the campsites are tiny, too close to each other (within just feet), and no privacy - more like an RV parking lot. We could see into the bedroom of our neibigours from our trailer bedroom.
- the park is understaffed
- pool closes too early (at 5)
- I haven't seen a 9 ft winged condor - they were just a bit bigger than craws
- no natural body of water

We just bought a camper van, so it was our maiden voyage. When I made the reservations, I made it in a tent site, because that's all we had at the time. Although it was a tent site, we just parked our van in our vehicle spot. It uses batteries and solar power, so we didn't need hook ups. The restrooms were clean and we would have used the showers if it wasn't for the excitement of using our new toy. I did hear from our neighbors stating there was a 30 minute wait to use the showers. It was a perfect weekend. Weather was perfect. My wife and I had never been here before and were pleasantly surprised. We were not aware that we had to buy admittance into the National Park to camp at the campground, so that was a surprise when we were leaving. I was under the impression we had to pay to enter the park, but not enter the park to camp. We arrived late Friday evening and the park's kiosk wasn't manned and we found out Sunday afternoon upon departure. It was $30, and because we have many near future trips planned, we opted to purchase the annual pass for the national parks, nationally for additional $50. We spent most of our time hiking and walking the campgrounds and most campers were cordial except for the guy who felt like talking until 2 AM. My wife and I would like to back and do it all over again and most likely will, in the fall.

Great campground to stay at! There are sites next to each other for large groups who want multiples and more isolated. A lot of wildlife around, though nothing dangerous. A lot of poison oak, but overall pretty safe so no wonder there were lots of families with young kids around. The bathrooms were clean and always stocked with toilet paper & soap. I didn't use the showers.
