Pinnacles Campground

Campsite was nice, relatively large, and private. It didn't have shade during the day though and it was very hot so we had to sit at another picnic table. Site 16 nearby had good shade. No generators so it was nice and quiet. Two showers for ladies were clean and no line midweek. Restrooms were clean. Biggest complaint is that the bathroom stalls didn't have hooks to hang a bag on. Park staff were helpful in selecting hiking trails when it was hotter than we expected. Camp store had a microwave for camper use and a small selection of food.

Our site was excellent, we had a strong T-Mobile signal and our router worked well enough to watch TV if we had wanted to.
We didn't use the pool and mostly just wandered around.
The park is showing wear and tear, the parks money being diverted to literally coat statues in the noxious traffic of D.C. would be better spent restoring the signage and infrastructure and staffing of our National Parks.

Loved having a pool and free showers. The little general store was well stocked too.

Very good campground right next to a parking spot. a minute's walk away from outhouses, and a 10-min walk away from restrooms with running water and flushable toilets.

Very dusty campground (have to blame California for that lol)
The flushable toilet was absolutely destroyed by someone in the morning

We had a wonderful stay at pinnacles. The campsite was well organized, quite clean and maybe most importantly, as we love to look at the stars, quiet and void of lights after 10 PM. The pool was great and it was really nice having showers especially this time of year when it was 106° and we desperately needed to clean off after a long hike. It’s not a matter of IF we come back to this campground at pinnacles, rather than WHEN.

We arrived at Spot 74. After unpacking, we found an anthill where our tent would go, but that comes with the territory. What I didn't appreciate is the PATH going from my parking spot (which is 12 feet from the road) into a shortcut to the bathrooms. Also, FIRES were not allowed, which is 90% of the camping experience. Finally, we thought we'd make the most of it but the noise level that was atrocious at 7 only grew louder by 9, so we packed up and left without even stating the night.

Nice campground with free showers and pool. Lots of wildlife— condors, quail, deer, turkeys. We read reviews about mischievous raccoons, so we made sure to eat and have everything cleaned up before the sun set, and we didn’t have any issues with them. It was super hot when we went in the beginning of August. Too hot for hiking or much of anything.

Great campsite but very hot in the summer. The sites were a bit small for tent and parking. The pool was overcrowded. Bathrooms were very clean and campsite was very pleasant summer evenings.

My site was sun exposed, but going in March is the perfect time to experience this National Park. No issues with the site, just very sunny and it was hot. Easy enough to cool off in Bear Gulch though, on an afternoon hike through the caves. Nice little store to shop in and get firewood. Lots of wild turkey flying around, and up in the trees. Great stargazing here, and dark skies. Loved this place.

Campsite was incredible. Stars were unbeatable. Many spots were at a slight slant which can be hard for tent camping. The one thing that was unfortunate was that quiet hours are around 10pm and a group of people were partying VERY loudly until 1ish and it was supremely hard to sleep and hear the amazing sounds of nature that camping provides. Really wish the camp host would have intervened. Otherwise the campsite was very clean and the bathrooms were easy to access. The showers were camp showers (didnt use but its a blessing to have showers at all). Overall Id love to come here again I highly recommend!
