What Guests Are Saying
Meadowview Campground is praised for its spacious sites, beautiful natural surroundings, and convenient location near Pinecrest Lake, making it a great choice for families and groups. The addition of a reservation system has improved organization, and many campers appreciate the clean facilities and friendly staff. However, concerns about noisy neighbors, restroom maintenance, and rule enforcement have been noted, indicating areas for improvement in the overall camping experience.

The campsites were clean & well maintained & the hosts were very friendly nice & always there if help was needed. The area was very quiet. Overall I was very pleased with the place. I’ll definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to visit.

It was very good. But some of the sites there are rocks in pretty bad places. But we got in fine and it was good experience.

The camp spaces are very tight. It's a very dense campground. We arrived on Saturday. By Sunday afternoon 95% of the campground was empty--stayed that way all week. We are retired and I should have known better than to book a weekend. We understand working folks who only camp weekends. We were weekenders ourselves many years ago.

Everything was fun! Closer to the lake and other than the mama and baby bear in our camp ground the first night due to no bear boxes we had a blast. Will definitly be back next year

Stayed over Thursday to Sunday, and we’re lucky to have quiet before the Saturday groups drove in. Our Saturday large group neighbors were horrible and absolutely did not have any common courtesy for the rest of us. The host did a great job on the first night to remind them of quiet hours at night, however that didn’t deter them from being ridiculously loud, disregard rules to not wash or bathe at the water spigots, and then to wake up by the adults and their kids screaming by 7:30am. Aside from that, we did have a late-night bear (mama bear and her cub) sighting and from our neighbors camp (bear got into their food storage and a drink cooler) across the meadow, so great reminder to practice bear safety. The yellow jackets were bad around the trees on our site. Aside from all of that, we enjoyed ourselves as the campground and bathrooms were maintained nicely. This site is at the end of a hillside with a bit of slope, alongside the open meadow, that had one larger flat level spot for our 6-person tent. We didn’t need a canopy for shade since the trees provided ample shade throughout.

My first time camping at Meadowview, camped at Pinecrest a couple of times.
We had a nice site (201), plenty of room and next to a meadow.
The bathroom was clean but needed repairs as one sink was not functioning and the fixture on the other was loose and ready to fall apart.
We stayed Friday and Saturday nights, and I expected it to be loud, and it was. The neighbors in the sites across the road from us were partying until 3 am. There were way more than 6 people per site and I was too outnumbered to ask them to be quiet. Things were calmer Saturday night.
Overall, a nice campground that needs some updating. Midweek or offseason it’s a nice alternative to the busier Pinecrest campground.

we’ve been going to meadow view for about 15 years now or more. I’m happy they added a reservation system especially with how overcrowded pinecrest has become, it’s clean and they have flushable toilets, toilet paper always stocked as well
