Trails were very grown over. It was hard to avoid stinging nettles and poison oak. Otherwise everything was wonderful!

Since it was a windy weekend when we stayed at Coast Camp, we didn't spend as much time on the Santa Maria beach as we had planned to, but we enjoyed our campsite and took hikes along the trails away from the beach. We especially enjoyed the 5-mile loop hike from Coast Camp along the Coast Trail to Limatour Lodge and returned via the Laguna Trail. The bathrooms were clean and the new metal food boxes are an nice upgrade to the campsites.

The facilities at Glen CG (water, toilets) were fine. However, many of the trails, including the major Coastal Trail from Palomarin to Wildcat, are getting very overgrown with brush, poison oak, stinging nettles, and some invasive plants. Even some of the campsites at Glen Camp are starting to get overgrown. Some serious cleaning of the brush is needed.

Point Reyes is probably one of my favorite places to go. Beautiful hiking trails and places to stop. The campgrounds are really nice with potable water and restrooms.
About 7:30 when everyone was awake packing up and making breakfast. One of the rangers came flying down the hill to clean the bathrooms and take out the trash. She wouldn't let one of the the campers use one of the restrooms until she was finished. Just a little weird having a nice quiet morning interrupted in such a way. With everyone staring at the poor lady dancing while waiting for the ranger to be done.

Love this place! It would be helpful to run a mower or hand cut the paths at Wildcat Camp. There is a nice wide path cut that goes to the bluff, bit the others are overgrown and everyone walks through campsite #3 (which can be awkward walking directly through someone's campsite) to get to the bluff. Thank you!!!

I camped in sites 006 and 007. Both were very private and quiet. The bathrooms were about an 6 min walk. Bear lockers were new and worked well. Evenings and mornings were quite cold with the damp air, I brought many layers including a puffer and fleece and was glad to have them.

Staying at Glen campground was great. Site 4 had a bit of a hard tent area, almost like concrete, but the sites were well distributed and it was nice being close to the bathroom but not too close. All the amenities are great - Bear Box, trash, picnic table, toilets, and water.

Campsite #5 at Glen was incredible. Glen is such a sweet location and the bird’s singing was magnificent in the morning.
