All of the spots at sky camp are incredible! Clean and great views. Know that it can get windy and it is an uphill hike.

This was our very first backpacking/hike-to camping trip and it was delightful! We saw many different animals and a deer even walked through our campsite.
The sites were large and spaced out very nicely. The bathrooms weren't too bad and the picnic tables, bear boxes and potable water were all extremely nice to have available. We will definitely be back!

Mice got into our food in the boxes but other than that amazing. It looked like they were replacing the boxes last time I was out there.
Such a great hike and epic location. Water and bathrooms at the campsite. You can have a fire on the beach if you get a permit.
So many tule elk and flowers and birds. Magical experience!

Site was beautiful, the sunset is picturesque.
I traveled with my husband and our 3 kiddos with a heavy wagon. We would redo this trip again but pack LIGHTER next time because the hike is a steep uphill 1 mi hike that took us an hour because we had to take breaks pushing that wagon.
Once there the site was beautiful. Bathrooms were stinky but again it’s a public bathroom so can’t expect too much from it. Trashcans available next to bathrooms.

This is a beautiful campsite, with great beach views and views of the beautiful rolling hills. It was also nice that it had running potable water and bathrooms, making the camping easy and approachable.

Glen Camp is surrounded by forest and is great for birdwatching in the mornings or evenings.

Beautiful campsite. Saw some elk and a bobcat . A bit chilly with the wind from the ocean, so be sure to bring warm clothes. And mice can get into the food lockers, so keep anything you don't want eaten in hard containers.

We brought our Adventure Crew tweens out for a 4 day, 3 night backpack trip in June. Sky group camp is more exposed since the fire took down the shade trees; I'd recommend bringing something to create shade. It is still the best option for a first night/easy hike in from Sky Trailhead. We had a layover day at Santa Maria beach where the kids flew kites and played lots of rounds of Banana Tag. We also spent 2 nights at Coast. The trails at Point Reyes are severely overgrown with the new 3 year rotation policy so plan for fire roads versus single track trails for ease of hiking.
